Meet Our Clients

Netsui & Kiku

Despite needing to dedicate a huge amount of time to her own health, Netsui brings her dog “Kiku” to Vet SOS nearly every month to trim her fast-growing nails and to manage her arthritis. Netsui adopted Kiku 10 years ago and describes her as “100% Min Pin - she’s smart and bossy.” After much training work by Netsui, Kiku jumps into her lap on command, walks perfectly beside Netsui’s wheelchair, and even wakes her during seizure episodes.

Richard, Jimmy, & Toodles

Richard and Jimmy have been coming to our Vet SOS clinics with their beloved dog, Toodles, for regular checkups, vaccines, and nail trims since 2018. Richard and Jimmy met Toodles when he was about 8 months old, emaciated, & scared, biting Jimmy three times on the first day. But they were patient and Toodles grew healthier, began to trust them, and became more playful with their consistent care and affection. Toodles is now 12 years old, and their family trio remains very bonded with each other. Richard says he’s thankful for Vet SOS, adding “it would be hard for us” without Vet SOS’ help.

Mango

Mango was the product of a backyard breeding situation but was lucky enough to end up in the hands of a loving owner who accepts all of her strengths and challenges. Her owner has shown dedication to maintaining her training, socialization, and, with Vet SOS’ help, preventative health. Mango is now finished with all of her puppy vaccines and looks forward to lots of playtime and continuing her training.

More Vet SOS Pets

In addition to our twice monthly clinics, Vet SOS performs outreach to unhoused pet owners living in San Francisco. We bring supplies right to where our clients are staying, and it is great to be able to see these pets out of our clinic environment and in their element where we can really see their personalities shine.
