Johanna Liu
President & CEO
Johanna Liu is President and CEO at SFCCC. She specializes in managed care, quality, and health care operations with experience in Medicare and Medi-Cal. Dr. Liu earned her MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, and is a PharmD graduate of the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy at the University of the Pacific. She is a Fellow of the California Health Care Foundation Leadership Program. Her interest in advocacy has led her to serve on the CA Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) Global Medi-Cal Drug Use Review Board, CA DHCS CalAIM NCQA Workgroup, and Board of Trustees for California Pharmacists Association.

David Ofman, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Ofman is Chief Medical Officer at SFCCC. He joined SFCCC in November 2013 as our Interim Medical Director, having previously served as SFCCC’s consulting physician from 2008-2009. Dr. Ofman is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Medical School, and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Washington. He holds a Master of Arts in Government from Harvard University. He continues his clinic practice at Curry Senior Center, where he has been serving San Francisco’s seniors since 1983.

Michael Juan Garcia, JD
VP, Compliance and Quality
Michael Juan Garcia is Vice President, Compliance and Quality at SFCCC. Michael has over a decade of experience in project management, quality, and compliance with Federally Qualified Health Centers. Michael earned a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans. Michael is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Compliance & Ethic Professional-International (CCEP-I), and holds a Level 3 Ambulatory Care Risk Management certificate.

Deena Lahn
VP, Policy and External Affairs
Deena Lahn is Vice President, Policy and External Affairs at SFCCC, where she works with local, state, and national partners and policy makers to advance the interest of community health centers and their patients. Previous jobs included leadership roles at the Children’s Defense Fund, the Child Care Law Center, and the Emergency Services Network of Alameda County.

Kenneth Koerner
VP, Finance and Operations
Kenneth Koerner is an experienced finance professional, primarily specializing in healthcare finance. Kenneth has held a variety of leadership positions over the last fifteen years, including his most recent position as a CFO for a behavioral health non-profit organization. He specializes in government reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid. Kenneth holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from Golden Gate University, an MA from Michigan State University, in addition to an undergraduate degree from The University of Rochester.
